Yes if you wish you can sit back and let the photographer do the work you want him to do. However if you wish to be more involved if you want to have more control then it is your place to be involved.
Yes we can work to a brief. Tell us what you want and let us do it. If the end results are what you asked for then we are all happy. If they are slightly off give a moment to go over it and edit to please you.
You are the client. The work we do may be used to reflect you and the image you wish to portray for a long time.

We will endevour to produce what you are looking for.
We all know time is money. So we will not mess you around. If we are too busy to do the job well then we will not take the job.
I would rather be honest and tell you it cannot be done in the time we have or that we cannot do it due to other commitments. That will give you the opportunity to find someone with a little more time on their hands.
If however you are prepared to give us the time to allow us to do the job well. Then we will do all we can to do the job within the timescale you request. We cannot however cut corners or compromise on the quality of work. Do it well or do not do it at all.

If you are looking for something different.
If normal is too normal for you. If the thought of someone coming in, and doing a job you could have done yourself, and making it look like you did it yourself, scares you. Then relax we are here to make it look better than normal.
I can use my phone to take the picture if you really want that. I even have a nice little compact camera that does a half good job. I'm sure you know a man who has a camera that you cannot operate, he could do it. But you know you are not looking for pictures you could take yourself. Or for that matter the man down the road with a fancy camera. If anyone could do the job then that is what we would have.
By being better than normal what we try to achieve stands out from normal.
